Rob Szabo has been in the music business with various hats. He has 6 self-produced albums, numerous Juno nominations and a win, Maple Blues Awards, Canadian Folk Music Award for Producer of the Year and the list goes on. He has been a part of two bands, rock funk, “The Groove Daddys” and alt-rock band, “Plascticine”. His taste in music is very eclectic ranging from metal to synth pop to folk. He has produced and co-written on countless albums.
His own music is honest with wry observations.
“Rob makes wry and sometimes pointed observations, with soulful confessionals often sung with a curious blend of hope and melancholy. It is a voice of clarity and of authority, and reminds the audience that there are core truths to be taken from everyday experiences of life and love.”
– Jo Beattie AD Coldsnap Festival (Prince George, BC, CANADA)
But we haven’t seen him in concert in this area for awhile. He’s been busy producing and co-writing on various projects and composing for film and TV while performing at a select few concerts. So that means, we are one of the lucky few who will actually get to see him live and in concert! So don’t miss your chance. It’s the final show of our 2018 Season.
