Expanding our boundaries of what we think of as folk music, we bring to Desboro, Dana Sipos. In fact her album, “Roll up the Night Sky” was nominated for a 2015 Canadian Folk Music Awards in the “Pushing Boundaries” category. Her varied life experiences help influence many of these songs. She has lived in Yellowknife, toured full time for four years, performed on a tall boat with The Caravan Stage Company (starting the show off by zip-lining overtop of the audience to the boat!) and been on the Jerry Springer podcast.
